The MA TEFL Program at AUA offers a 2-year professional degree in Teaching of English as a Foreign Language and two Certificates: Teaching English as a Foreign Language (C-TEFL) and Translation ( C-TR). The curricula of these programs closely follow the requirements and standards of similar courses and degree offerings at institutions in the United States and elsewhere.
The Program is also actively engaged in research through the Center for Research in Applied Linguistics (CRAL).
To honor Professor Marianne Celce-Murcia as the Dean in the shaping of the TEFL Program, she was presented a plaque celebrating her sincere services and devotion to AUA.
